The following are emails Carol Thomas Krawiec and I have received about the 2008 Class reunion.
Hi Carol:
Just wanted to tell what a great job you did on the reunion Thanks for all of your hard work. Paulette and I had a great time. Tell Sherry thanks also. She can be my 1st Sergeant any day.
Thanks again. Sam Krug
Carol,
I cannot put in words and tell you how great the reunion was. You and Sherry and everyone did a GREAT job. Carol’s party was an excellent “kick-off”. I had forgotten how much fun our class was – or maybe everyone has just improved with age – haha.
I went to my wife’s class reunion last year at Wanango and it was a snoozer. We were both afraid that our reunion would also be rather dull and boring but we were definitely wrong. We had the time of our lives and it was so great seeing everyone again. DJ Dave was a hit as well, and Sherry was the perfect MC – she had everyone laughing out loud.
We both hated to leave and will definitely be there for the 50th.
Thank you and your committee again for all your hard work – it really paid off.
Also, Bill Passauer’s timely reminders and updates are the main reason we decided to travel up there. His website is amazing.
Sincerely yours,
Bob and Susan Hadley
Hello Bill,
I just wanted to tell you that it was nice seeing you again at the reunion. It has probably been 45 years. I really had a great time and the only problem that I had was that there wasn’t enough time to meet and talk to everybody. Also, I can kick myself for not going to any of the previous reunions.
I was glad that we were all able to give you a standing ovation for your great effort and work on the Class of 63 Website. Keep up the great work.
Gene Harkless told me that he still has some of his elementary school pictures. We both started out at Central Ave. Elementary and then 7th Street. Hopefully, he will take the time to send copies to you.
