Gerald A. Felmlee, 72, of Seneca, died peacefully, April 8, 2018, surrounded by his family, at his home.
Born May 12, 1945, in Oil City, he was a son of the late Arthur E. and Leota L. Fry Felmlee.
He was an Oil City High School graduate in the class of 1963.
Jerry worked for 50 years as a tool and die maker for Shaw Industries. True to his tool and die making roots, Mr. Felmlee loved to tinker. He was known as a “Mr. Fix-It” to his family and friends and loved keeping everything running.
On June 4, 1983, he was married to the former Patsy Bickel, who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kelly McFarland and her husband, Tyler, of Seneca, and three “grandpets,” Jade, Ruby and Pearl. Also surviving are three brothers, Leonard Felmlee and his wife, Lucia, of Seneca, Kenneth Felmlee of Rouseville, and Thomas Felmlee and his wife, Marilyn, of Oil City; two sisters, Miriam Storch of Seneca and Joyce Meade of Cranberry; and eight nieces and nephews, David Graham, Debra Dunn, Dan Dunn, Leann Felmlee-Brown, Luke Felmlee, Stephanie Propst, Lisa Gilbert and Gregg Felmlee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, David Felmlee, and a sister, Delores Graham.
Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Rob Kifer officiating. Interment will be in Heckathorn Cemetery.
