Robert E. Corbin, 73, of Princeton, IN (formerly of Oil City), passed away on February 24, 2018. Born December 2, 1944 in Oil City, Robert was the son of the late William H. and Eleanor Corbin.

Mr. Corbin was a US Army Veteran and was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. He worked in retail and security until his retirement. He was a member of his local Elks Club, American Legion and VFW, where he was a favorite amongst the ladies. Robert was a friendly individual and enjoyed helping people in his apartment complex.

He is survived by his 3 children, Jeffrey Scott Corbin and his wife, Joyce, of Vandergrift, PA, Robin Beatty and her husband, Rob, of Saltsburg, PA, and Christina Arblaster and her husband, Steve, of Kittanning, PA; his 8 grandchildren; and his 3 great-grandchildren.

Robert is also survived by his 4 sisters, Barb White and her husband, Ted, of Titusville, Karen Culp and her husband, Gary, of Oil City, Sue Flockerzi and her husband, Bruce, of Oil City, and Patricia Hartle of NC; his 2 brothers, William H. Corbin of Oil City and James Corbin and his wife, Lorraine, of Titusville; his sister-in-law, Carolyn Corbin of Reno; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles L. Corbin; and his brother-in-law, John Hartle.

A gathering of Robert’s family and friends will be held at Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. Burial will be in Reno Cemetery at the convenience of the family, where military honors will be accorded by the local V.E.T.S. Honor Guard.
